
Here is another living organism that has sprung up in the yard in spite of our efforts to convert our property to a barren moon-like landscape.


Cars splattered all over the landscape the last few days. We've had three sessions of freezing precipitation this winter. Of course, that probably doesn't have much to do with the number of wrecks on the road. That happens in broad daylight, dry pavement, straight line driving around here. Yes, in a city of 5.3 million where everyone owns 1.3 vehicles, the elements don't make much difference in the outcome.
